Mobile & PWA
Danny Tasks works in any mobile browser, but installing it as a Progressive Web App (PWA) gives you a faster, app-like experience with an icon on your home screen.
Install on iOS (Safari)
- Open askdanny.to in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add to confirm.
Danny will appear as an app icon on your home screen and open in its own window without Safari's address bar.
Install on Android (Chrome)
- Open askdanny.to in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
- Tap Add to Home screen (or "Install app" if prompted).
- Tap Add to confirm.
Mobile Layout
The mobile interface adapts to smaller screens:
- Bottom tab bar — switches between your task list, chat, brain dump, and settings.
- Drawer navigation — swipe from the left edge (or tap the hamburger icon) to access projects, views, and filters.
- Floating action button (FAB) — tap the + button to quickly add a task.
- Bottom sheet detail — tapping a task opens its detail panel as a bottom sheet that you can swipe up for more detail or swipe down to dismiss.
Mobile Chat
The chat tab gives you full access to Danny's conversational features. Voice input works the same as on desktop — tap the microphone icon in the chat input to speak your prompt.
Brain Dump on Mobile
Tap the Brain Dump tab to start a voice capture session. The recording, processing, and review phases work identically to desktop. The review screen is optimized for touch — toggle tasks on and off with a tap, and edit titles inline.
