Snoozing Tasks
Hide tasks until you're actually ready to deal with them — not deleted, just quiet until the date you set.
What it does
Snoozing a task makes it disappear from your task list until a date you choose. The task is not deleted or marked complete — it's just hidden. On the snooze date, it reappears automatically. This keeps your list focused on what's actionable now, without losing track of things that matter later.
How to use it
- Click any task to open the task detail panel.
- Click Snooze.
- Pick a snooze time: Today, Tomorrow, This Weekend, Next Week, or a Custom date.
- The task immediately disappears from your list.
- It reappears on the chosen date, back in your list as if it was just added.
Example
You have a task: "Renew car registration." It's not due for six weeks. Snooze it to Next Week — it disappears from view, and you stop being reminded of it every time you open the app. Six weeks later (or whenever you set), it surfaces again.
Tips
- Use This Weekend for tasks that only make sense to do on a weekend (errands, personal projects).
- Use Custom date if you know exactly when something becomes relevant — for instance, snoozing a task to the day before an event.
- Snoozed tasks don't count against you in Danny's prioritization or planning — Danny knows they're intentionally deferred.
