Connecting Google Calendar
Sync your calendar so Danny plans around your actual schedule, not an empty day.
What it does
When you connect Google Calendar, Danny can see your existing meetings and events before scheduling tasks. This means day planning avoids conflicts, time blocks land in real free slots, and estimates account for how much of your day is already committed. Danny reads all calendars you have access to, including shared ones.
How to use it
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar.
- Click Connect Google Calendar.
- Sign in with your Google account and grant the requested calendar permissions.
- Danny confirms the connection. You'll see your connected calendar listed.
- Ask Danny to
plan my day— it will now schedule around your real calendar events.
Example
Before connecting: Danny schedules a two-hour task from 9am to 11am, not knowing you have a team standup at 9:30.
After connecting: Danny sees the standup and places the task in the next available free block instead.
Tips
- Danny reads from all Google Calendars on your account, including secondary and shared calendars — not just your primary.
- You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Integrations without losing your tasks.
- If your availability changes (e.g., a new recurring meeting), just ask Danny to re-plan your day — it always reads the latest calendar state.
