Weekly Summary
Review what you accomplished over the past seven days — useful for stand-ups, check-ins, and maintaining momentum.
What it does
The weekly summary looks at everything you completed over the past seven days and gives you an AI-generated narrative of your progress, plus a list of highlights. You can trigger it on demand via chat, or set it up to arrive automatically by email on Sunday evenings.
How to use it
On demand (chat):
- Open the chat panel.
- Ask
"what did I get done this week?"or `"give me my weekly summary."`` - Danny responds with a narrative summary and your most notable completions.
Automated email:
- Go to Settings → AI Automation.
- Toggle on Weekly summary.
- Danny emails your summary on Sunday evenings.
Example
You ask: what did I accomplish this week?
Danny responds:
"This was a productive week, Jordan. You closed out seven tasks, including the client proposal that had been open for two weeks and the infrastructure migration you'd been putting off. The team retrospective notes and the hiring pipeline review were also notable completions."
Highlights:
- Completed client proposal (was overdue 4 days)
- Finished infrastructure migration
- Cleared 3 backlogged items
Tips
- The summary only covers tasks you actually marked complete — if you did work but didn't check items off, Danny won't know about it.
- You can ask follow-up questions:
"what's been sitting on my list the longest?"or"what categories did I focus on?". - The weekly email is a useful artifact for async status updates — forward it to your manager or paste it into a standup doc.
